The City of Watford City welcomes your comments and encourages respectful dialogue on our social media pages. We value your feedback and want to provide a platform for open communication.
This comment policy outlines the requirements for participating in discussions on our social media pages. By commenting on our pages, you agree to abide by these requirements. Comments not following these requirements will be removed.

Comments must not contain any obscenity.

Moderation

Comments are subject to public disclosure laws and will be moderated accordingly.
Comments will be reviewed by authorized agents of the City of Watford City.
We may also remove comments that are repetitive or unproductive.

Blocking

Blocking users from commenting on our pages is a last resort.
We will only block users after consultation with the City Attorney’s office.
We will document any instances where a user is blocked, including screenshots and the reason for blocking.

All comments and moderation actions will be archived using ArchiveSocial software for record-keeping purposes.
