City Council

The Watford City City Council meets the first Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m. in the Heritage Room (3rd Ave NE entrance) located at City Hall. Scheduled meeting dates can be found in the link below. Please note, some dates may be subject to change. Meeting notices are posted on the bulletin board at City Hall.

The City of Watford City is governed as a Mayor/Council form of government.  In the Mayor/Council form of government, the City Council, as the elected body, adopts ordinances, sets policy, adjudicates issues, and establishes the budget of the City.  The Mayor appoints the City Administrator and the City Auditor.
